Feed the People Food Pantry~, a non-profit organization based in PT Barnum Housing Complex, Bridgeport, CT that provides . PT Barnum is the largest and most needy community in the city of Bridgeport. There are three hundred sixty housing units in PT Barnum and over 500 children reside there.
Since July, 2009, Claytor’s Ministry has operated a Food Pantry on premises in the PT Barnum Housing Complex. The mission of Feed The People Food Pantry is to provide emergency food, counseling and referrals to individuals and families of PT Barnum Housing Complex and families who find themselves in a crisis situation. Households receive food once every week and other services when available.

Men, women, and children go hungry each day in PT Barnum Housing Complex. PT Barnum Housing Complex is the largest, most needy community in the city of Bridgeport, CT. In many cases they simply do not have enough money for their next meal. They are welcomed with a smile and treated with dignity.We do not pretend to solve the problem of hunger in our community, but we can make today a bit more tolerable for those in our midst who are hungry.

The Feed The People Food Pantry serves about 60 families each week. Many of the families are large families. It depends on donations.The pantry needs non-perishable food and personal products, particularly canned beef stew and luncheon meat such as Spam, canned spaghetti and ravioli, spaghetti sauce, elbow pasta, canned pears and pineapple, 100 percent apple juice, coffee, sugar, tea, laundry detergent and toilet tissue.

Feed The People Food Pantry was founded in the Memory of the late Apostle Benny Claytor, Prophetess Gerry Claytor's husband of 36 years & Mrs. Jessie Marrow, a community activist who served the community with a soup kitchen for many years.
